The Public Infrastructure Engineering Vulnerability Committee (PIEVC), co-funded by Natural Resources Canada and Engineers Canada, assesses the vulnerability of public infrastructure in Canada to climate change impacts. A range of pilot studies, case studies and assessments have been conducted. PIEVC summarizes these in a report titled Adapting to Climate Change: Canada’s First National Engineering Vulnerability Assessment of Public Infrastructure, published in April 2008.
