2012 — Province of Quebec

The strategy outlines the approach and measures that the Province of Québec, Canada is taking to minimize direct and indirect negative impacts of climate change on the health and safety of people and communities, economic activities, and the natural and built environment. The strategy also aims to build awareness of these issues in Québec and to help local and regional organizations implement and take ownership of climate change adaptation solutions. At the heart of the strategy is developing knowledge and skills on adaptation, awareness and training, land use management, and the integration of adaptation measures into the public service.
