Scientific research is being undertaken in British Columbia in order to adapt the provincial natural resource sector to a changing climate, reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon sinks. Check out this website for an inventory of climate research projects from FLNRORD, including projects funded under the Future Forest Ecosystems Scientific Council (FFESC). Research projects look into vulnerability assessments and planning for B.C’s forestry sector.
