Low Carbon Resilience – Best Practices for Professionals
2019 – Simon Fraser University Adaptation to Climate Change Team (SFU ACT)
This project, led by the Adaptation to Climate Change Team (ACT) at Simon Fraser University, focuses on the key role professionals play as change agents in climate action, and what is needed for all sectors to advance uptake of Low Carbon Resilience (LCR) based practices. The case studies, tools and resources presented in this report were developed in consultation with professional representatives across Canada. Key project deliverables were developed as brief handouts illustrating different applications of LCR. Project deliverables include: Low Carbon Resilience Briefing Note, Low Carbon Resilience Conceptual Process Model and Diagram, Low Carbon Resilience Planning Example Processes, Low Carbon Resilience Tool Example, and three Low Carbon Resilience case studies.
