Local Adaptation in Canada: Survey Report
2019 – Federation of Canadian Municipalities, University of British Columbia, University of Waterloo
Are you interested in how Canadian municipalities are adapting to climate change? This report explores community approaches to climate change adaptation. It includes survey findings from 180 municipal respondents and builds on the results of a similar survey conducted in 2012. One key discovery in the report was that more than half of local governments surveyed have initiated formal adaptation planning discussions in their community within the last four years.
