Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

Established by the United Nations Environment Program and the World Meterological Organization, the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the leading international body on assessing climate change. It is a scientific body, composed of hundreds of scientists. IPCC assesses existing scientific, technical and socio-economic information in order to increase worldwide understanding of climate change, climate variability and climate impacts. The organization’s website offers a wealth of resources, most highly technical, but well worth a look by all who are interested in climate change.
