Centre for Forest Conservation Genetics, Faculty of Forestry, University of British Columbia
ClimateBC is an interactive, online visualization mapping tool created on the Google Maps platform. Researchers can access and visualize historical climate data and future projections, along with ecosystem and forestry information.
The program uses historical weather station data and global circulation model regional predictions to project future seasonal and annual climate variables in BC and western North America. A stand-alone desktop version is also available.
