2013 — City of North Vancouver

The City of North Vancouver, British Columbia developed a climate adaptation plan following the five-milestone framework of ICLEI-Canada – Local Governments for Sustainability. The framework leads cities through the process of developing, implementing and monitoring a climate adaptation strategy, with a focus on reducing risk throughout the community. The City also made the strategic decision to integrate adaptation throughout all City operations, including the 2014 Official Community Plan (OCP) update.
