Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER)
The Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) is a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable First Nations communities and environmental protection. One of their four areas of focus is “taking action on climate change.” This group provides information and resources to help First Nations understand climate change and its impacts and identify solutions, and also to inform other communities of the effects of climate change on First Nations. CIER projects address populations north and south of 60 degrees north latitude.
