The climate is changing in Atlantic Canada. Warmer temperatures, heavier rainfall, intense storms, and rising sea levels are causing flooding, erosion, and damage to infrastructure. Governments in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador are working together with the Government of Canada to help Atlantic Canadians better prepare for, and adapt to, climate change. These activities are part of the Regional Adaptation Collaborative (RAC) Program.
Atlantic Climate Adaptation Solutions is a website that offers plans, reports, case studies and tools for community climate change adaptation in the Atlantic provinces.
