In this webinar, part of the University of Waterloo’s The Value of Water in Canada webinar series, Pascal Badiou will speak about the value of wetlands in agricultural landscapes in Canada.
Pascal, a research scientist at Ducks Unlimited Canada, has been conducting research to determine the importance of wetlands in carbon cycling and how these systems can be managed to mitigate against climate change. He’s also interested in the use of constructed wetlands for the management of stormwater and treatment of sewage effluent to improve water quality at the watershed scale within urban environments.
