The recent PIEVC Global Forum successfully united climate change risk practitioners, professionals, and infrastructure owners from Canada and around the world. It focused on sharing proven methods, tools, and approaches for climate change vulnerability and risk assessments in infrastructure using the PIEVC Family of Resources. Participants actively engaged in discussions and expressed interest in further dialogue and learning around the use of the PIEVC Protocol.

To maintain the momentum generated during the Global Forum and foster continued engagement, the PIEVC Practitioners’ Network is hosting a series of virtual Knowledge-Exchange Sessions. These sessions aim to bring practitioners together in small-group discussions, enabling them to expand on the ideas discussed at the Global Forum, to share their perspectives and experiences while also identifying areas where the PIEVC Program and Practitioners’ Network can support their practice.

The first session will explore the following topics:

1. Supporting small and under-resourced communities

2. Moving from risk assessment to treatment

3. Supporting recent training graduates and early learners

Please select one topic you wish to explore during the session. We recognize multiple topics may be of interest. You’ll have an opportunity after the event to watch recordings, read shared ideas, and contribute to all three topics via the PIEVC Practitioners’ Network platform.

To align with the small group-based setting, this event is limited to 90 registrants.
