This workshop is part of a three-part virtual workshop series delivered by the Municipal Natural Assets Initiative. The series is designed for local governments that have already made some progress on natural asset management and understand the basic concepts of asset management and natural asset management.

The first workshop topic is how to integrate climate considerations into natural asset management. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain how climate change hazards could impact infrastructure and infrastructure services in their region of the country.
  2. Identify how their local government is already addressing climate risks to natural assets and related services.
  3. Identify opportunities to improve the climate resilience of natural infrastructure during the assessment, planning, and implementation stages of asset management, with examples of what some local governments are already doing.
  4. Identify natural asset management actions that may be required to address climate change-related hazards to municipal infrastructure assets.

The cost for this workshop is $150 plus tax, which includes up to 3 participants per local government. The cost for the full series is $299 plus tax. Register for this workshop here.
