This unique, fully-virtual event enables professionals across the country to interact with representatives from coastal communities about initiatives and challenges for building community resilience in the face of diverse coastal hazards.  It is also an opportunity for local government representatives to bring the attention of upper levels of government to local issues needing their support.

This year, the Forum will explore two themes: Resilience Planning and Partnerships, and Disaster Recovery and Lessons.  Sessions will run for three hours each day and will feature community ‘snapshot’ presentations from local government representatives; panel discussions with representatives from federal, provincial, and local government agencies, NGOs and Networks, and the research community; as well as breakout room discussions open to all participants.
